Golf in Malta

With Great pleasure Soleto Travel presents one of the beautiful Royal Golf Clubs which is located in Malta.
The Royal Malta Golf Club was founded in 1888 and celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2013, the Duke of Edinburgh, one of the founders, gave royal patronage to the club.
The Royal Malta Golf Club is situated on the grounds of the Marsa sport club and has an 18 hole par 68 course open all year, benefiting from the warm Maltese climate.
RMGC has a modern club house for visitors and the club members where the Reception desk is located.   There is also the Golf Shop where members and visitors have the opportunity to hire clubs, trolleys, if required large storage room, together with the Putters Inn Bar & Restaurant and the Members’ Lounge.
Whilst on the first floor one finds the spectacular Terrace View Bar, a Meeting Room as well as the Men’s and Ladies’ changing rooms.
The professional PGA coaches are always available for introductory courses for novices, both children and adults, and for helping to improve the performance of the more seasoned golfer.

Not just a Golf
The RMGC is a private member club and an ancillary club of the Marsa Sports Club where other sports can also be enjoyed by members and visitors on payment of the membership or guest fees of the different MSC section:
Tennis with 19 courts including two covered courts;
Squash with 5 glass-backed courts with air-conditioning;
Cricket with a good artificial pitch and nets;
Billiards/snooker with 2 full sized tables;
Croquet; and a small gym.
